Trade show attendance: We can attend a trade fair of your choosing collecting all relevant catalogues and brochures, business cards and price lists for the products that you are interested in for a fraction of the cost you attending. If you want the benefits of attending a specialty trade show without the time and costs involved this is a good option. Costs are $200 for attendance (1 day) + actual transport costs (if outside Shenzhen) + any airfreight or postage charges.

Product Sourcing: Our expert staff will use a variety of specialized sourcing resources using both Chinese and English languages in the searches. This is key as most manufacturers in China do not have English capabilities. Generally for every 4 companies that have English capabilities there are 15 that only speak Chinese.

We will contact the manufacturer directly and obtain product information, certification info, pricing, minimum order quantities, estimates of product production times, no of pieces per container etc.

We will recommend 1 or more suppliers based on their responses and reputations.

Our Charge for this is a reasonable $200 per product or related series of products. This process will generally take 1 week.

Selection of an OEM partner: We can find a suitable local factory to OEM your product. This might include design development, prototyping, the manufacturing of moulds, sourcing of specific components or materials, etc. Additionally, there may be confidentiality agreements, exclusivity agreements etc. As you are requesting a product be made to your requirements it is imperative that you provide sufficient information and clear instructions and that these are fully understood, before funds are committed and the project commenced. We can be you local technical representative to ensure your interests are looked after.

Ordering and Shipping of Samples: We can arrange the shipping of samples from the factory to your facilities including packaging, shipping, insurance and any customs declarations. The cost of this will depend on the size and complexity of the product. In many instances we can get the factory to send them directly at no cost.

Factory Visit / Quality Audits: A visit to the factory to see if it looks like what was represented on the website is a wise investment for most first time orders. Misrepresentation has been made an art form in China. Many times after lengthy but promising dealings with a factory, a visit to there premises quickly makes you realize that they are totally unsuitable to be making the product at the quality expected by your customers. It is much easier to say you have quality systems in place then to actually implement them! Our charge for a factory audit including digital photos or video to be forwarded you is $200 plus travel costs if outside of Shenzhen.

Contract Negotiations: Never an easy thing in China. We suggest that our Chinese staff do this directly…… avoiding you from getting the “foreigner price”. The way to get the best price is to have a good knowledge of what a companies competitors are charging. We can give advice on the form of contract to be entered into if any and ensure that payments are made in line with normal industry practice and full payment is only made when goods are ready to ship.

Quality Control - QC inspections and QA audits: QC inspections and QA audits: We can undertake a range of quality inspections/audits depending on the nature of the product and its quality requirements. These include:

To be present during the manufacturing process, inspect components prior to assembly, Arrange testing of components or finished product at accredited testing labs, Undertaking visual inspection of the product and the packaging prior to loading into shipping containers. Review of the manufacturers QA plan and undertaking an audit of the plan. Costs are dependent on the scope required.
